Job summary
CoreWeave is seeking a highly skilled HPC Performance Engineer to join the HAVOCK Team, focusing on the design, development, and optimization of bare-metal systems from POST through joining a Kubernetes cluster. You will work with a custom Linux kernel, Ubuntu-based OS images, and the virtualization/container stacks to ensure low-latency, high-throughput performance.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Systems/HPC performance engineering, benchmarking, or validation.
- Strong Linux internals knowledge and system-level debugging.
- Experience with MPI workloads and distributed system performance analysis.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain tools for establishing performance baselines.
- Design and maintain performance regression test pipelines for HPC workloads.
- Collect data and create metrics and visualizations to compare against benchmarks.
- Debug and tune fabric-level performance for low-latency, high-throughput configurations.
- Define OS requirements and architecture for performance in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
