Qualifications

• Experience debugging distributed state machines and system-level I/O bottlenecks.

Responsibilities

• Designs enhancements and changes for subsystems of parallel file systems (Lustre, Linux I/O stacks).
• Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration tasks for features (layout evolution, OST striping, data tiering).
• Writes and executes testing plans and documentation for storage subsystems; debugs I/O stacks and kernel panics.
• Collaborates with project team to develop high-performance storage solutions for HPC/AI workloads.
• Communicates status and progress to management and partners; participates as a key technical contributor across projects.
• Provides guidance, code reviews and mentoring to junior staff.
