Job summary

Viridien is seeking an experienced HPC Solution Architecture Team Lead to drive architecture, design, and delivery of HPC and Cloud infrastructure across our global landscape. You will combine Linux/HPC expertise with stakeholder engagement, translating requirements into scalable, secure solutions and guiding project execution while supporting operational excellence.

You will mentor engineers, lead governance and design reviews, and contribute to a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Linux administration in HPC or similar role.
• Experience designing and delivering scalable, secure architectures.
• Proficient in automation, IaC, and cloud services.
• Familiarity with open-source technologies and cloud platforms.
• Experience with container orchestration and scripting (Bash/Python/Perl).
• Strong problem solving and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture and delivery of HPC and Cloud infra solutions, including docs and handover.
• Translate requirements into scalable, secure technical architectures.
• Lead architecture governance, reviews, and technical decision-making.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, security, and application teams.
• Drive automation and Linux platform optimization for reliability and efficiency.
• Contribute to technology roadmap; evaluate emerging tech.
• Support operational readiness with monitoring, DR, patching, and runbooks.
• Mentor teams and participate in 24/7 on-call rotation as needed.
