Job summary

Piworld in Green Bay, WI is seeking an HP Indigo Operator to set up and run HP Indigo and UV digital presses, ensuring color accuracy and efficient production.

You will collaborate with the production team to label and package, monitor quality, troubleshoot issues, and maintain safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating HP Indigo digital presses preferred.
• Experience with HP Indigo 6000 series printers highly desirable.
• Digital printing, labels, or packaging experience is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Effective time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse production team.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and equipment (roll to roll printers).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate HP Indigo and/or UV digital printing technologies.
• Support color management and maintain consistent color quality throughout each project.
• Collaborate with production team members to produce high-quality labels and packaging.
• Monitor product quality and follow all safety procedures and production standards.
• Troubleshoot print and press issues and make fact-based decisions to keep production running efficiently.
• Manage multiple short- and long-term projects while meeting production deadlines.
• Adapt to changing technologies, hardware, software, and production processes.
• Communicate effectively with team members and individuals across different departments.
• Provide a high level of internal customer service by responding promptly and thoroughly to production-related inquiries.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented workplace.
