Job summary

EnerStaff LLC in De Soto, TX is seeking an HP Digital Press Operator for a 4am-2pm shift. Start ASAP. You will produce high quality labels, load jobs, and monitor color accuracy.

Requires a GED or high school diploma and 2 years of HP press experience; HP Level 2+ certification preferred. Able to lift up to 50 lbs and pass background/drug screen.

Responsibilities

Job description

HP Digital Press Operator (Temp-to-Hire)

Location:

De Soto, TX 75115

Shift:

4am-2pm

Pay:

$20-$25/ hour

ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Produce high quality labels to meet the job specifications outlined on the label order to match customer standards
• Inputs data including time and materials used into job management software
• Reads job order and load jobs into press,with correct primers, tint roller’s, stocks, counts, and color strategies
• Starts press,verifyingcorrect stock, alignment of stock,color calibrations, and sizing of piece before printing order, must inspect for imperfections and makes adjustments as necessary before printing order.
• Adjustscoloras necessaryto verify color accuracy of finished piece. X-rite / I1 table knowledge a plus
• Cut,and save a fullsample fromeachprinteditem for sample library and ticket.
• Assist with finishing operations and duties as necessary
• Communicates job specific information or changes to the supervisor in a timely manner to minimize production downtime
• Report any production orpress down timeissues to supervisor in a timely manner
• Keeps inventory usage accurate at all times
• Performs daily, weekly and monthly maintenance as required,with basic technician part changes when needed
• Keeps work areas clear and organized; maintains housekeeping standards
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of two years or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Two yearsof previous experience operating aHP digitalpress in a printing environment,and or proof of level 2 or higher certifications from HP, preferably web press (4-6 series equipment)
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Must be able to read and interpret ruler, scales and other measurement devices.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and is required to walk
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without mechanical assistance
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• May also participate in vendor sponsored training programs
• Must pass background and drug screen
