Job summary

Texas Sports Academy in Houston is hiring a Videographer to shoot and edit daily video content across youth sports, practices, games, and events. You’ll own the camera work, edit, and asset library, producing short-form vertical content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

You’ll often be on location as the main videographer and primary contact for that school site. You'll collaborate with our Houston and Austin Social Media teams, sharing on-campus updates, standout moments, and story ideas

Qualifications

• Portfolio of short-form vertical work for brands, teams or creators in sports.
• Experience shooting handheld in live environments (sidelines, courtside, crowded venues).
• Proficient in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut Pro.
• Strong editorial judgment to anticipate shots and identify post-worthy moments.
• Sports content background (team, league, club, or sports brand).
• Footage management system for backups and retrievable assets.
• Gear: own or have access to professional camera setup.
• Location: based in Houston, TX with transport.

Responsibilities

• Shoot daily on location across Houston and surrounding areas.
• Capture player highlights, behind-the-scenes moments, interviews.
• Edit short-form vertical content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts).
• Manage asset library and archive.
• Stay current on trends and new editing techniques.
• Deliver same-day or next-day edits.
