Jim Adler & Associates is seeking a skilled videographer to lead day-to-day video production for social media, YouTube, community events, and client-facing content in Houston and across Texas. You will work closely with our video editor, on-camera talent, and attorneys to create engaging, professional videos that meet tight deadlines and support firm initiatives.

3+ years of professional videography and proficiency with cinema or mirrorless cameras are required; travel to events and light

We are seeking a skilled, self-directed videographer to lead day-to-day video production for social media, YouTube, community events, charitable initiatives, and client-facing content. You will work closely with our video editor and on-camera talent, including Jim Adler, attorneys, and staff, to create professional, engaging videos.

Responsibilities

• Plan, light, shoot, and capture audio for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and long-form YouTube videos.
• Film Hammer Help events, charitable initiatives, community outreach, and firm events in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, and McAllen.
• Produce attorney profiles, client testimonials with appropriate consent, and videos highlighting firm culture and recruiting.
• Work with on-camera talent to capture authentic, personality-driven content under tight deadlines.
• Maintain camera, lighting, and audio equipment; organize footage and provide clearly labeled media to the video editor.
• Help develop and execute an annual production calendar and coordinate freelance camera operators for larger shoots.
• Follow applicable Texas attorney advertising rules and the firm's review procedures for all client-facing content.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional videography experience; agency, broadcast, corporate, news, or legal marketing experience is a plus.
• Strong proficiency with cinema or mirrorless cameras, lighting, wireless audio, and gimbals.
• A portfolio or reel demonstrating polished productions and quick-turn social media content.
• Ability to work independently in the field, at events, and under deadline while remaining organized and professional.
• Discretion when working with sensitive client situations and information.
• Valid Texas driver's license and ability to travel between offices.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds of production equipment.
• Basic editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve for quick-turn clips.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual English and Spanish strongly preferred.
• FAA Part 107 drone certification is a plus.
