You'll work with Terraform for infrastructure, Swift-based tests, and Selenium-driven test automation, contributing to a resilient stack that scales for Meta customers in Houston.

Qualifications

• Experience building distributed systems in production.
• Strong PostgreSQL knowledge and SQL fluency.
• Proficiency in Python and writing clean, maintainable code.
• Ability to own edge cases and diagnose issues under pressure.
• Experience with Terraform or similar IaC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect fault-tolerant distributed systems leveraging Python and Terraform.
• Own the bias-to-action edge cases in major billing components.
• Write Swift integration tests to catch regressions early.
• Reduce cold-start times and improve wake-up performance for users.
• Decide when to use PostgreSQL versus built-in storage for the stack.
• Refine and maintain microservices supporting Meta customers in Houston.
• Push Selenium changes behind flags to enable safe rollbacks.
