Job summary

Citi’s Commercial Bank is seeking a Summer Analyst for the Natural Resources team in Houston. You will work with Relationship Managers on a portfolio of clients in Oil & Gas, Energy Transition, and Power & Utilities, supporting the delivery of Citi’s broad banking solutions.

The program includes training, hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to credit, product, technology, and risk teams to help you develop into a commercial banking professional.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, on track to graduate winter 2027 or spring 2028.
• GPA of 3.5 or above preferred.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.

Responsibilities

• Conduct company research and industry analysis.
• Analyze financial data and perform financial modeling (DCF and pro-forma).
• Support the commercial lending process (secured/unsecured lines, term loans, syndicated loans).
• Assist with deal management and client presentations (pitch books, memos).
• Collaborate with product, credit risk, legal, operations, and technology teams.
• Partner with Relationship Managers to deliver Citi solutions to clients.
