Job summary

The University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK) seeks a Regional Recruiter-HTX to advance recruitment initiatives from the Houston, TX area. The role supports UTK’s enrollment goals by engaging with high schools, parents and students at events across the region.

You will travel to visits and fairs, provide guidance on the admissions process, and collaborate with the Undergraduate Admissions team to achieve recruitment targets in a data-informed manner.

Qualifications

• Experience in undergraduate admissions or counseling at a college or university.
• Student worker or volunteer experience in admissions, recruitment, or peer advising.
• Experience giving oral presentations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic recruitment initiatives for a defined territory.
• Use data from ACT/SAT and external sources to set territory goals and work plans.
• Counsel a diverse population of prospective students and families at recruitment events.
