Job summary

Prologis in Houston seeks a Development Manager to steer land pursuit and building developments, including entitlements, design and construction management for speculative industrial facilities. The role requires high energy, strong communication and organization, with daily collaboration with internal and external partners.

Salary range starts at $115,000 and can go up to $158,000 plus a comprehensive package. Prefer residence in Houston; travel up to 20% could be required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Experience in local industrial development and municipal approvals.
• Proficiency with Autodesk, Forma, PeopleSoft, MS Project, Bluebeam, Google Earth, ACAD viewer and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop budgets, define risks and track costs for land, infrastructure and building construction.
• Lead a team of consultants and contractors to meet regional deployment goals.
• Coordinate development processes from acquisition to procurement of permits and approvals.
• Provide conceptual and pre-construction estimating for all development aspects.
