Job summary

Boardwalk Pipelines, Houston, TX, seeks a Project Development Manager to lead front-end development of large-scale midstream projects. You will drive opportunities from ideation to Sanction, coordinating commercial and engineering teams, regulatory handling, and stakeholder engagement to ensure viable investment outcomes.

You will work with a cross-functional deal team to shape opportunities, manage costs and schedules, and present to leadership.

Qualifications

5+ years in project/business development or project management in US natural gas pipeline industry.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams from Discovery through Sanction.
Experience working with commercial functions to shape projects around customer needs.
Familiarity with permitting processes and environmental constraint analysis; NEPA pre-filing coordination.
Strong stakeholder engagement, executive presentation, and customer alignment skills.
Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with scheduling tools.
Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

Lead front-end development of large-scale midstream projects (gas and liquids).
Drive projects from ideation to Sanction/Final Investment Decision, including $1B+ IQCs.
Collaborate across commercial, engineering, regulatory, environmental, land, and corporate development teams.
Prepare investment decision support packages: scope, schedule, cost, risks, returns.
Engage with regulators, landowners, and community stakeholders throughout development.
