Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
• Experience in both state and federal courts.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial litigation matters in Texas state and federal courts.
• Draft and respond to written discovery; prepare disclosures and discovery requests.
• Draft protective orders and other filings; prepare deposition outlines and schedule depositions.
• Take and defend depositions; evaluate discovery responses and develop litigation strategy.
• Prepare removals to federal court and corporate disclosures; attend pretrial conferences.
• Draft dispositive motions, including motions for summary judgment; conduct legal research.
• Work with clients throughout all phases of litigation; collaborate with partners on complex matters.
