Job summary

The Exploration Company (TEC) is seeking engineering interns for Spring 2027 in Houston, TX. As an intern, you will work on crewed vehicle development, designing, developing, testing, and improving engineering systems under a mentor.

You will contribute to real-project deliverables and apply coursework to solve technical problems. Ideal candidates are pursuing engineering degrees (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD), with at least three months of relevant experience, strong problem-solving and

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Three months or more of relevant engineering experience through prior internships, co-op programs, or industry projects.
• Due to ITAR/EAR, applicants must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents (e.g., Green Card holders).
• Preferred: GPA 3.5 or above; six months or more of engineering experience; teamwork and hands-on academic projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to design, develop, test, and improve products, systems, or processes.
• Contribute to real-world engineering projects and deliverables under a mentor.
• Apply engineering principles to solve technical problems.
• Develop, test, debug, and document technical solutions, tools, or prototypes.
• Analyze data, identify trends, and provide recommendations to support engineering decisions.
• Participate in design reviews, team meetings, and technical discussions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, reports, and project updates.
• Support testing, validation, and quality assurance activities.
