Job summary

HazTek Safety Management in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced OFCI Manager to oversee owner-furnished equipment from ordering through site delivery, installation, and final testing. This role focuses on coordinating vendors and ensuring readiness for startup on a large-scale construction project.

You will manage deliveries, track equipment startup, and prevent delays by coordinating with site teams, vendors, and field personnel, with exposure to data center or large industrial builds.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in construction equipment management or project engineering.
• Direct experience managing Owner-Furnished, Contractor-Installed (OFCI) equipment packages.
• Experience with data center builds or large commercial/industrial projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of vendor startup processes, BMS/controls integration, and system testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Defines equipment requirements and manages vendor delivery timelines.
• Coordinates equipment shipments, site receiving, storage, and contractor handoffs.
• Tracks vendor startup support, controls integration, and integrated systems testing (Levels 2–5).
• Identifies supply chain risks early and works with site teams to prevent installation delays.
• Maintains complete equipment logs, including serial numbers, warranties, and spare parts.
