Global Payments is seeking a Sr Associate Field Sales Rep to join our Merchant Services team in the Houston area. You will drive new business, consult with owners and executives, and expand relationships across a portfolio of local businesses.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in sales with a focus on solution selling, a data-driven mindset, and proven success in hitting targets. Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus, and travel within the territory is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of sales experience, with emphasis on solution selling, small businesses and merchants.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets with a data-driven mindset.
• Excellent cold calling, prospecting, and territory development.
• Manage client relationships with internal teams for customer success.

Responsibilities

• Drives new business growth and profitability in existing accounts by spotting high-impact opportunities.
• Serve as strategic sales lead, consulting with owners and C-suite executives.
• Builds and energizes a strong referral network and proactive outreach to generate sales momentum.
• Builds and manages pipeline through referrals and self-generated leads.
• Partners with sales teams to expand existing customer relationships.
• Delivers persuasive, value-driven presentations showing how solutions meet client needs.
• Travel within a designated territory to prospect, build relationships, and sign new local businesses.
