Royal Bank of Canada in Houston, TX, is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to support the Energy Coverage Team. You will contribute to M&A and financing transactions, develop client presentations, and perform detailed financial analysis to drive execution.

Ideal candidates have at least three years of IB experience in energy, strong financial modeling and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple deals while maintaining high professional standards.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree, MBA, MA or MS or equivalent with emphasis in finance/accounting/ engineering.
• Minimum of three years of Investment Banking experience and previous experience in the Energy space.
• Experience executing M&A deals specifically in relation to financial institutions and ability to lead transaction execution on multiple deals at a time.
• Series 79 & 63 licensed.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills with ability to maintain relationships at all levels of organization.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the execution of M&A and financing transactions, develop new business presentations, and conduct detailed financial analysis
• Work with Analysts in development of pitch books and related client materials
• Coordinate with Industry, Product and other groups to evaluate and execute business opportunities
• Proactively identify operational risks/ control deficiencies in the business
• Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities
• Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions on a timely basis
