HCA Healthcare, Inc. in Houston seeks a Director of Supply Chain Operations for Surgery Ventures. This role oversees daily materials management, purchasing, receiving, and inventory, driving cost savings and contract compliance across SVG centers.

You will lead facility-based materials teams, implement standardization programs, and collaborate with administrators, clinicians, and vendors to optimize supply utilization while ensuring patient safety and service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in relevant field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Five years leadership experience; 2–3 years hospital/surgery center experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all facility material management activities for assigned Surgery Ventures Centers.
• Implement standardization programs for all material management functions and contract optimization.
• Assist with OR supplies setup, SKU reduction, and PAR file building for new facilities.
• Coordinate with DCRD, SCO, VPO and CRD on market-based purchasing projects.
• Ensure cost analyses, contract compliance, and SKU reduction where possible.
• Raise and resolve facility-based supply issues and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with administrators, physicians, clinicians and vendors to optimize supply utilization.
• Manage and evaluate facility Supply Chain personnel.
• Execute performance measurement and continuous improvement programs for materials management.

Formation

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain, or healthcare related focus
