Job summary

Stonebridge is hiring a Bartender in Houston to mix, pour and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for outlets and events. You will set up the bar, maintain stock, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

The role requires strong guest service, cash handling, and knowledge of beverage preparation. Candidates may need TIPS certification within 30 days of hire and flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience as bartender or in food/beverage role preferred.
• Knowledge of drink mixing, garnishing, and serving techniques.
• Able to handle cash and process payments with POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Mix, pour, and serve beverages per recipes and guest preferences.
• Set up and stock bar with beverages, glassware and supplies.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and health/safety standards.
• Monitor alcohol consumption per safety guidelines.
• Provide friendly, professional guest service.
• Process payments using POS accurately.
• Restock supplies during shifts.
• Handle cash/credit following outlet procedures.
• Assist with inventory and report shortages.
• Follow opening/closing procedures and secure stock.
• Address guest inquiries or complaints promptly.
