Job summary

CSPNJ, a mental health nonprofit in New Jersey, is seeking a Housing Supports Admin to support the Housing Supports department. You will enter data, complete reports, monitor supplies, and help maintain case records for completeness.

You will directly assist individuals with housing navigation, manage tenant relations, and work closely with property managers and community agencies. This role blends administrative acumen with compassionate, trauma-informed service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a mental health discipline preferred; or a high school diploma with 2+ years of related work/lived experience.
• Knowledge of Medicaid policies and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and customer support skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; data management familiarity.
• Ability to complete a 7-year background check and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for tenants, landlords, and external partners.
• Establish and maintain record systems; prepare reports and agenda items.
• Independently compose correspondence and provide information related to policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain cooperative relationships with funding partners, referral agencies, and community organizations.
