Job summary

Flex, a NYC headquartered fintech, is seeking a Director, Strategy & Operations (Housing) in New York. The role partners with the GM of Housing and executives to translate strategy into executable plans, owning high-impact initiatives from design to delivery, with a hybrid on-site expectation of 3 days per week.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in strategy/ops or consulting, startup experience, strong quantitative skills, and superb communication.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in strategy, operations, or a Chief of Staff function.
• Experience in management consulting or high-growth startups.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Quantitative focus with budgeting and forecasting expertise.

Responsibilities

• Define divisional priorities, roadmaps, and operating plans with the GM of Housing and leaders.
• Translate goals into a clear operating system for cross-functional coordination.
• Own end-to-end strategic initiatives for the Housing division from strategy to delivery.
• Prepare executive memos and facilitate review meetings for strategic decisions.
• Communicate with senior stakeholders with clarity and impact.
• Operate at high speed, managing competing priorities and pressure.
• Improve processes and collaboration across the division.
