Job summary

The Housing Stability Specialist at Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization (IRCO) will provide case management to help participants achieve self-sufficiency, focusing on housing and social services needs and rental funds administration.

English is required; Spanish bilingual preferred. A valid driver's license and auto-insurance are necessary, with a hybrid Portland schedule and 1.0 FTE with benefits under MSI.

Qualifications

• Some college coursework and a combination of relevant experience.
• 1-2 years of experience is required.
• English required, bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess potential client program eligibility
• Meet individually with clients to help define, reach housing goals
• Maintain case files and data entry in System points
• Distribute housing funds to landlords or utility companies
• Refer clients to other sources of assistance
• Provide comprehensive case management and related paperwork
• Complete case management documentation
