Job summary

Auberle operates homeless shelters to assist individuals and families in securing long-term housing. Staff engage clients to address housing needs, gather documents, and connect to resources for food, healthcare, and benefits.

You will help with housing applications, budgeting, and compliance with shelter rules, while supporting clients through intake, placement, and ongoing case management tasks at sites in McKeesport and Duquesne.

Qualifications

• Case management experience or coursework
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation
• Comfort with assisting individuals and families

Responsibilities

• Engage individuals and families to support housing goals.
• Gather vital documents from shelter entrants.
• Identify urgent needs and connect to resources.
• Assist with housing applications and opportunities.
• Complete household budgets and verify income/expenses.
• Conduct room inspections and ensure compliance with program rules.
• Support travel to trainings and meetings as required.
