The Housing Stability Specialist role in the Bronx supports intake, leasing compliance, rent coordination, and tenant engagement. Flexibility and collaboration across teams are essential to help residents maintain stability and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with vulnerable populations.
Experience in leasing compliance, property management, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality customer service to residents and applicants.
Maintain accurate tenant files and ensure regulatory compliance including LIHTC.
Manage vacancies according to Lantern policies and procedures.
Collaborate with clinical staff and property management for a safe environment.
Monitor occupancy and aim for at least 95% occupancy.
Coordinate intake with referrals and schedule applicant interviews.
Complete income calculations for rent and subsidy eligibility.
