Job summary

Sbnbcc is hiring a full-time Scattered Site Housing Case Manager in Santa Barbara, California. This role involves providing crucial case management and housing navigation assistance to help the homeless secure permanent housing. Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related field, along with at least one year of case management experience. The position offers a starting salary between $25.00 – $28.00 per hour, medical and dental benefits, and other perks. This is not a remote position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year case management experience or related professional licensure or certification.
• Understanding the needs of formerly homeless people with disabilities.
• Knowledgeable of dynamics of chemical dependency and mental disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management and housing navigation assistance.
• Help homeless secure housing and look for available units.
• Coordinate with landlords and connect clients with employment resources.

Skills

Knowledge of HMIS and Housing First model

Experience with homeless and vulnerable populations

Excellent verbal and written skills

Microsoft Suite proficiency

Bi-lingual

Education
