Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Housing Specialist in the PACT program at Behavioral Health Network! This position is based in Springfield, MA.

Your experience, knowledge, and skills will support the PACT program with responsibilities including:

1. Arranging, in consultation with DMH, the annual inspection of all DMH-licensed properties, including residences and DMH subsidized apartments.
2. Scheduling and verifying the completion of repairs and construction from DMH inspections.
3. Consulting with PACT staff to provide housing information and assist in locating stable housing for individuals.
4. Ensuring compliance with all housing documentation requirements.
5. Reviewing and familiarizing with PACT orientation and Policy & Procedure manuals.
6. Attaining competence in motivational interviewing and applying it when working with clients with ambivalence.
7. Developing and maintaining a list of housing resources, including Section 8, HUD, and local programs.
8. Providing advocacy for individuals regarding housing issues.
9. Ensuring individuals have proper supplies, furnishings, and decorations.
10. Supporting individuals in maintaining their tenancy.
