Job summary
Bay Area Community Services in Sacramento is looking for a Housing Locator to assist clients in securing housing. Qualifications
High School Diploma required and must have 4 years of paid work experience in mental health/social services.
One year of housing/real estate/property management experience preferred.
Valid California driver’s license and proof of insurance coverage are required.
Responsibilities
Advocate and negotiate with landlords on behalf of participants.
Provide tenant education and housing counseling.
Track and report on participant’s progress.
Manage disputes, provide rehabilitative support, and resolve conflict.
Create and maintain presence as an expert in housing provision.
