Job summary

Accessible Space Inc. (ASI) is seeking a Housing Services Coordinator for our building in Las Vegas, NV. The role supports residents to maintain independence, safety, and quality of life within ASI housing.

Responsibilities include case management, referrals, and coordinating access to community resources, plus operating van service with schedules and safety procedures to ensure resident mobility and community integration.

Qualifications

  • One year of successful experience in operations/management of affordable/supportive multifamily housing.
  • Knowledge of local, state and federal entitlement programs for residents (e.g., HUD) is a plus.
  • Experience advocating, organizing, prioritizing, problem-solving for residents.

Responsibilities

  • Provide van service to residents, including scheduling, ridership tracking, and safe transport.
  • Develop and maintain a directory of community resources for information and referral.
  • Monitor residents' changing needs and coordinate additional services.

Job description

Accessible Space Inc. (ASI) is a national nonprofit organization provides housing to individuals with physical disabilities, seniors and veterans is seeking a Housing Services Coordinator for our building in Las Vegas, NV.

The ideal candidate will assist residents in maintaining the highest level of independence, safety, and self-sufficiency possible as well as maintaining/improving their quality of life while in ASI housing.

Some of the duties include; providing general case management and referral services to residents in need of such assistance. Develop and maintain a directory of community resources in order to provide information and referral services to all residents. Monitor the changing needs of residents and work with them to identify, secure and coordinate additional services.

Provide van service to residents to ensure access to and integration in the community by: establishing van service ride schedules and tracking all ridership; assisting in loading and unloading passengers/wheelchairs and ensuring passengers/wheelchairs are properly secured; safely transporting residents in the community; and servicing the van according to established service schedules.

Qualifications One year of successful experience in the operations and/or management of affordable/supportive multifamily housing (e.g. leasing, compliance, resident relations, resident services, coordinating resident activities and training, and other administrative tasks related to affordable/supportive housing operations management. Demonstrated knowledge of local, state and federal entitlement programs, supportive services and community resources appropriate to the resident population, including low income seniors, persons with disabilities, and U.S. Veterans. Demonstrated working knowledge of supportive services and community resources appropriate to the resident population. Demonstrated ability to advocate, organize, prioritize, problem-solve, and achieve appropriate outcomes for the resident population. Current driver's license and acceptable three-year driving record. Bachelor\'s Degree in related field. Knowledge of the aging process, elder services, disability services, and eligibility requirements/ procedures related to federal and state programs, understanding of HUD Housing guidelines all a plus.
