Job summary

Mental Health Association is seeking a Reach/HHG Team Program Supervisor to oversee outreach, assessment, and engagement for individuals experiencing homelessness. You will supervise a team of case managers, a housing specialist, and an administrative assistant, and ensure program logistics, eligibility screenings, waitlists, and budgeting align with standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with partners to support housing placements, upholding values of Respect, Integrity, and Compassion.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Experience working with homelessness and mental health or substance use challenges is essential.
• Candidates with lived experience of homelessness are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a multidisciplinary team, including assigning duties and evaluations.
• Lead outreach and engagement with individuals experiencing homelessness using trauma-informed practices.
• Develop eligibility screening tools and manage the program waitlist.
• Collaborate with case managers to assess needs, goals, and barriers.
• Assist participants to secure and maintain safe, affordable housing.
• Monitor participant progress and ensure high-quality services.
• Oversee program budget expenditures and ensure compliance with funding and policies.
• Collaborate with the Program Director and partners while responding to crises.
