People Encouraging People seeks a leader to oversee the Homeless Outreach Team, ensuring advocacy, service coordination, counseling, and resource procurement for clients in the program. You will hire, supervise, and train staff while guiding clinical operations, admissions, and discharge processes to align with accreditation standards.

Oversee Homeless Outreach Team services that provide advocacy, service coordination, resource procurement, counseling, and support for clients enrolled in the program. Ensure that high-quality, high-fidelity Homeless Outreach services are provided to all clients. Responsible for hiring, supervising, and training Homeless Outreach personnel, as well as overseeing the overall management, evaluation, and budget of Homeless Outreach programs.
Staff supervision and professional development
Ensure client documentation complies with regulatory and accreditation requirements
Coordinate Homeless Outreach services to ensure high-quality client care
Promote and monitor client well-being, both clinically and physically
Represent the agency through participation with community organizations, as required
Program billing, grant management, and budget oversight
Education: Master’s degree in social work, Psychology, Counseling, Nursing, or a related field. Current Maryland licensure in a mental health profession is required. A minimum of three years of experience working with adults with serious and persistent mental illness is preferred.
Skill Requirement: One to six months of on-the-job training (OJT) is required for proficient job performance.
Job Requirements:
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must demonstrate knowledge of evidence-based mental health treatment practices and services for individuals experiencing homelessness.
