Job summary

Bracknell Forest Council is seeking a Housing Led Officer to support people experiencing homelessness, helping them build stable futures through intensive, flexible, and person-centred support.

The role includes assessment, safeguarding and decision-making responsibilities, maintaining detailed case records, and regularly reviewing progress. You will work from the Time Square office at least two days a week, with flexible working options available.

• Work from Bracknell Forest Time Square office a minimum of 2 days per week, with flexible working arrangements where possible.

Job description

We are looking for a Housing Led Officer to play a vital role in helping people who are experiencing homelessness to build stable, independent futures. Through intensive, flexible and person-centred support, you will work alongside individuals with complex needs to establish and sustain tenancies, access essential services and progress towards long-term, permanent accommodation.

Alongside providing practical and emotional support, the role carries important assessment, safeguarding and decision-making responsibilities. This will include assessing risks and accommodation suitability, maintaining detailed case records and regularly reviewing customer progress.
