To maintain all heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigeration system and all associated equipment, to its maximum capability at journeyman level. To operate energy management control system in an efficient manner.
This position is designated essential personnel for emergency closings. The holder of this position is also subject serving on a schedule to be called back to work during non-work hours. In such an event, this position is required to respond to after-hours calls.
Extensive working knowledge of heating, ventilating, PTAC, geothermal, and air conditioning operations. Must be able to repair and perform maintenance on institutional type equipment. Demonstrated ability to read and understand blueprints. Demonstrated ability to solve problems with P-tech, heating, air conditioning, geothermal, and ventilation equipment. Understanding of HVAC equipment and tools.
