Qualifications

• Availability Monday-Sunday 6:00am–2:30pm is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine grounds and landscaping tasks (planting, digging, raking, edging, blowing, debris cleanup).
• Assist with carpet/upholstery cleaning, and stripping/waxing vinyl floors.
• Collect trash and recyclables on a routine basis.
• Organize supply closets for grounds keeping equipment.
• Assist with general housekeeping in community spaces.
• Support housing events and conferencing (move-in/move-out).
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Job Description / Duties

• Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Assist with routine grounds and landscaping such as planting, digging, raking leaves, edging, blowing, and debris cleanup, and pressure washing walkways;
  • Assist with carpet and upholstery cleaning, and stripping and waxing vinyl flooring;
  • Collect trash and recyclables on a routine basis;
  • Organize supply closets for grounds keeping equipment;
  • Assist department staff with general housekeeping such as vacuuming, dusting, cleaning surfaces and appliances, and sanitation of common areas in the community;
  • Assist with various housing events and conferencing such as move-in, move-out or other events that need additional support;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Must be available to work Monday-Sunday between the hours of 6:00a.m. - 2:30p.m.

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
• Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.

Salary Range

$16.90per hour.
