Job summary

Center City Housing Corp. seeks a Recovery/Cultural Support Coordinator to provide direct tenant support in a supportive housing building for formerly homeless adults.

You will work with a team to implement Housing First and Harm Reduction approaches, aiming to stabilize residents and foster recovery-oriented programming. Responsibilities include advocacy, documentation, screening, and coordinating events and programming.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; a related degree is preferred.
• Experience working with population groups in housing or social services is desirable.
• Effective customer service skills to establish relationships with tenants and partners.
• Flexible schedule and ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct tenant advocacy and support to residents of a supportive housing building.
• Implement Housing First and Harm Reduction principles in daily activities.
• Attend meetings, document progress, and help with case management tasks.
• Assist with screening, applications, lease processes, and turnover.
• Develop programming and supervise tenant activities; respond to emergencies.
• Maintain tenant files, records, and required documentation.
