Job summary

reStart Inc. is seeking a Clinical Services Specialist to provide supportive clinical services within housing and stabilization programs.

You will integrate mental health support, crisis intervention, psychoeducation, and service coordination to promote housing stability and well‑being. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field.
• Experience providing mental health, crisis intervention, or supportive services in community-based settings.
• Experience working with individuals experiencing housing instability or behavioral health concerns.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and strengths-based service delivery.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive mental health interventions, including crisis response and safety planning.
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and structured skill-building sessions.
• Support participants in accessing community-based behavioural health, medical, and supportive services.
• Assist participants in identifying goals that complement housing stabilization efforts.
• Monitor participant well-being and communicate concerns within the treatment team.
• Intake, onboarding, and program engagement activities; collaboration with housing staff.
• Communicate with community agencies to coordinate clinical and supportive services.
• Participate in case conferencing and interdisciplinary discussions.
• Support cross-program collaboration to enhance service delivery.
