Job summary

Idaho Housing and Finance Association is hiring a Housing Counseling Support Specialist to guide clients through the housing counseling process, answer questions, input information, and provide support to housing counselors and Homebuyer Education programs, ensuring prompt, high-quality service.

Your role includes serving as the first contact for clients, entering data in CMS, coordinating appointments, and delivering ongoing administrative support by phone, email, and chat.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain client information in CMS, assign counseling files, and coordinate appointments with housing counselors.
• Provide ongoing administrative and customer service support to housing counselors and clients through phone, email, and chat.
• Maintain housing counseling resources, spreadsheets, client files, and documentation to support accurate and compliant program operations.
• Provide support for Online Homebuyer Education programs and cross-train to serve as backup for Homebuyer Education responsibilities.
• Assist with client follow-up, correspondence, clerical duties, and additional housing counseling projects as needed.
• Other job duties as assigned.

As a Housing Counseling Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in guiding clients through the housing counseling process. Your responsibilities will include answering client questions, inputting information, and providing support to housing counselors and Homebuyer Education programs, ensuring that clients receive prompt, high-quality service throughout their housing counseling journey.
