Job summary

Riverside Community Care is seeking a Housing Coordinator to support Persons served by ACCS Integrated Teams in attaining and maintaining stable housing in the community.

The role educates staff and Persons about tenancy rights, helps obtain subsidies, and serves as the primary contact with landlords and housing authorities to advocate for clients.

Responsibilities

• Educate staff and Persons using ACCS services about tenancy issues, housing rights, and resources.
• Assist Persons with applying for and attaining subsidies.
• Work with Persons to secure housing that meets their needs and guide them in learning the skills necessary to maintain community housing.
• Provide a single point of contact for developing relationships with landlords, housing authorities, and DMH Area housing staff, to foster communication and advocacy.

Housing Coordinator

ACCS Integrated Teams provide clinical interventions and peer and family support tofacilitateengagement, support functioning and maximize symptom stabilization and self-management of individuals and toassistindividuals in developing skills,establishingnatural supports and resources to live successfully in the community.

As a member of the ACCS team, theHousingCoordinatorwill work as a member ofPersons’Teamhavingprimary responsibility forsupporting Persons in attainingand keep ing stable,secure housing.

The Housing Coordinator will:

• educate staff andPersonsusingACCS services about tenancy issues, housing rights, and resources
• assistPersonswith applying for andattaining subsidies
• work withPersons to secure housing that meets their needsand will guide the Person in learning the skills necessary tomaintaincommunity housing
• provide a single point of contact for developing relationships with landlords, housing authorities, and DMH Area housing staff, to foster communication and provide advocacy

Schedule: 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday

Pay Rate: $23.60/hour
