GC Service Corp seeks a Housing Compliance Specialist to evaluate and monitor properties for compliance with affordable housing programs in Southern California. You will audit tenant files, determine eligibility, and ensure least 100% compliance across LIH properties using YARDI software.
The role requires auditing, training PMs on compliance, and staying current with regional housing regulations. Beneficial bilingual skills may help interactions with staff and residents.
The Housing Compliance Specialist is responsible for the evaluation and monitoring of properties to assure compliance with
applicable affordable housing programs. The Specialist position is responsible for determining tenant eligibility for occupancy in Low
Income Housing developments in Southern California and is required to audit tenant files upon request (lease, application, income
certification, etc.) for compliance with LIH programs by efficiently using YARDI software.

1 year conventional/market rate property management on site experience, preferably starting as a leasing consultant with
promotions to assistant manager.
Bachelor’s degree desirable. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and
have experience with Yardi Property and Onsite software (preferred).
Must be able to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 20 pounds. Regularly required to sit, stand, walk or otherwise move
about the property and units, squat, open doors. May be required to climb/descend stairs. Perform computer work, and
operate general office equipment (computer, phones, fax machine or scanner) and do filing.
Must be able to communicate (orally and written) in a professional, courteous and effective manner on a regular basis
with prospective residents, residents, staff, management and co-workers within the Company as well as with outside
vendors. English proficiency required; Spanish proficiency is a plus. Adapts communication to be understood by the
audience.
Is reliable and consistently at work and on time. Willing to travel, and work evenings, weekends and holidays, as
needed.
Pay range: $25.19-$37.70
