Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) is seeking a Housing Examiner to perform physical compliance inspections across Ohio, including travel to multiple properties. The role includes reviewing tenant files for income and household eligibility under various housing funding guidelines and conducting file inspections in the field or office.

The position requires a valid driver’s license and may require travel across the state.

Qualifications

• 12 months experience as Housing Examiner Trainee, 67351; OR equivalent.
• Must possess or be in candidacy for SHCM, HCCP, NPCC, or TCS credential.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Experience in auditing, accounting and housing compliance is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Travel throughout Ohio to conduct physical compliance inspections of properties in the field.
• Complete file inspections/audits in the field or in the office.
• Review tenant files for income and household eligibility under multiple affordable housing funding guidelines.
