Central Minnesota Jobs and Training Services, Inc. seeks a Housing/Building Inspector to manage the Time of Sale program and conduct inspections for building, plumbing, and mechanical codes.

You will coordinate with homeowners, contractors, and stakeholders to enforce code requirements and support the Permits and Licensing team. The role interfaces with the City Planner to ensure permit applications comply with zoning regulations.

Qualifications

• Combination substantially equivalent to high school graduation with post-secondary training in building trades.
• Certified Minnesota Building Official, Limited, or the ability to obtain within the first six months of employment.
• Valid Minnesota Driver's License.

Responsabilités

• Conduct inspections and enforce building, plumbing, and mechanical codes.
• Coordinate with homeowners, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure code compliance.
• Support Administrative Assistant II Permits and Licensing and work with the City Planner to ensure permit applications meet zoning regulations.
