Job Opportunity: Houseperson at Tempo New York Times Square

The Tempo New York Times Square (https://www.hilton.com/en/hotels/nyctepo-tempo-new-york-times-square/) is seeking a Houseperson to join our team.

This stunning property features 661 rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, offering views of the city and Times Square lights. The sky lobby on the 11th floor includes communal workspaces, a fitness centre, and hydration station.

Ideal Candidate: Experience as a houseperson in a similar-sized hotel, full availability including nights, weekends, and holidays, with a background in comparable properties.

Shift Pattern: Full availability required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Range: $29.15 - $38.87/hour

Responsibilities

As a Houseperson, your duties include cleaning and maintaining designated hotel areas and responding to guest requests. Specific tasks involve:

• Cleaning restrooms, public areas, offices, and banquet/meeting rooms
• Dusting, polishing, vacuuming, mopping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, and floor cleaning
• Disposing of trash and emptying ashtrays
• Greeting guests courteously
• Reporting maintenance issues
• Stocking supply rooms
• Performing deep cleaning and special projects, such as mattress flipping or furniture moves
• Assisting in cleaning guest rooms as needed
