Job summary

Shamin Hotels in Virginia Beach seeks a Houseperson (HSKP) for seasonal shifts at the Oceanfront property. You will clean guest rooms, hallways, and public areas, replace linens, empty trash, vacuum, and restock supplies while following safety and company policies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Strip rooms and replace bed linens, towels and trash.
• Clean hallways, corridors, elevators, stairways, ice rooms, trash areas, and linen closets.
• Vacuum carpets, dust fixtures and furnishings, and polish metalwork.
• Wash walls, ceilings, and woodwork; clean windows and door panels.
• Empties wastebaskets and transports trash to disposal area.
• Stock and deliver supplies; replace light bulbs; report safety and policy issues.

Houseperson – Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront Position OverviewJob Title: Houseperson (HSKP)Location: 3501 Atlantic AveSchedule: Seasonal, must be available on weekends and holidaysWork Environment: Oceanfront hotel right on the boardwalk Summary:The Houseperson is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, hallways, furnishings, flooring and work areas. Cleaning rooms includes duties such as changing bed linens and emptying trash as well as vacuuming carpets and dusting furniture.
