The ideal candidate is reliable, can handle outdoor work, communicates well with guests, and is able to lift up to 50 pounds. A valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks are required.

Responsibilities

• Stock linen closets and other storage areas.
• Walk the property daily to ensure cleanliness and a welcoming environment.
• Report maintenance issues to the housekeeping supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Job Description

The Houseperson/Runner is a critical member of the housekeeping team, responsible for providing support to housekeepers and ensuring that guest rooms and common areas are clean, organized, and well‑stocked. The ideal candidate will be a hard worker with a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and attention to detail.

As a Houseperson Runner, you will:

• Provide support to housekeepers by delivering supplies, removing trash, and cleaning common areas
• Deliver requested items to guest units promptly and efficiently
• Greet guests and respond to their requests in a friendly and helpful manner
• Stock linen closets and other storage areas
• Walk the property daily to ensure cleanliness and a welcoming environment
• Report any maintenance issues to the housekeeping supervisor
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

To perform this job successfully, you must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write and speak English fluently. Additionally, the person must possess and adhere to the following core values:
