A Housekeeping Houseperson is responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests, contributing to the hotel's goal of delivering outstanding guest service and ensuring financial profitability.
Ability to communicate effectively in English. Self-motivated with a professional appearance and manner. Good communication skills with guests. Willing to assist co-workers and be a team player. Physical ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment, and stand for extended periods, with lifting up to 100 lbs. Ability to understand and follow supervisor instructions.
Maintaining positive interactions with guests and staff, demonstrating courtesy and respect at all times. Every associate acts as a guest relations ambassador.
Meet or exceed hotel standards for procedures, dress, grooming, punctuality, and attendance. Be adaptable, willing to learn new skills, solve routine problems, and seek help when needed.
Adhere to security policies, especially regarding key controls, chemical handling, heavy lifting, and reporting hazards. Prioritize the safety and security of guests and staff.
