Your Role

The cleanliness of a hotel is one of the main reasons guests return. We are looking for individuals with great attention to detail to join our Housekeeping team. The ideal candidate creates a memorable experience for our guests through attention to detail and care in preparing and maintaining guest rooms. This role is the “Heart of the House” and provides key services for guests to relax and enjoy their stay. A strong housekeeping team can elevate a guest stay from good to outstanding. Experienced housekeepers who excel in their roles may grow into supervisory or management positions such as Housekeeping Supervisors, Managers, or Executive Housekeeper.

• Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well
• Work as a team to accomplish the goal of resort/hotel cleanliness
• Keep work cart orderly and properly stocked
• Proper utilization of equipment supplies and guest amenities
• Thorough cleanliness and sanitation of assigned guest areas
• Daily changing and inspection of linens and towels, following the standards set forth in the Green Program
• Practice safety standards and be aware of safety hazards, and properly report as found
• Respect for guests’ property should always be exercised
• Responsible care of equipment
• Reports to work on time and according to posted schedule, to maintain accurate time records and follows proper standards for issuance of rooms
• Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to the guests and co-workers
• Perform other related duties as requested by Floor Supervisor

• Ability to work on feet for an extended period of time
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to read room numbers, dates and basic instructions
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Must be willing and able to work various shifts including overtime, weekends, and holidays

Compensation

The compensation for this position is $16.50/Hr. - $17.51/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
