Ready to work at the 77 room Hampton Inn Buffalo, TX? As a House Person, your attention to detail will show our guests that you are committed to providing outstanding guest experiences. The energy and enthusiasm you display will create a fun and enjoyable place to work while keeping in accordance with Health & Safety standards.

In addition to general public areas cleaning tasks, the House Person duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Cleans rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, broom and carpet shampoo machine.
• Cleans rooms, hallways and restrooms.
• Washes walls and ceilings, moves furniture, and turns mattresses.
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors.
• Dusts and polishes metalwork.
• Collects soiled linen for laundering.
• Receives linen supplies from floor shoots.
• Maintains housekeeping carts.
• Removes trash collected by room attendants.
• Walks all assigned floors at the beginning and end of shift to collect newspaper bags, newspapers, trash, and soiled linen.
• Pickup clean linen and refills the par stock of linen on each floor pantry.
• Deliver towels, cribs, cots and other items to guest rooms on request.
• Perform duties of room attendant when necessary.
• Sort linen and stock room attendant closets.
• Refill the par stock of guest amenities and supplies on each floor pantry.
• Help the room boys / house maids with heavy lifting during deep cleaning / spring cleaning of rooms.
• Clean all public areas in the prescribed manner while following department standard operating procedures.
• Remove soiled linen and trash from poolside and other service areas and take to appropriate locations in the prescribed manner.
• Assist room boys / house maids with placing bed boards, roll-away beds, extra beds, etc.
• Report missing / found articles, damage or merchandise problems to the housekeeping supervisors.
• Respond at all times in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other colleagues.
• Take up any tasks assigned by the supervisors as and when needed.
• Report to work in required uniform and in adherence with the hotel dress code policy.
• Must be able to work independently and as a team player.
