Job summary

Hotel Ziggy in West Hollywood, CA, is seeking a dedicated Houseperson to support housekeeping operations and ensure a clean, welcoming environment for guests. You will participate in cleaning guestrooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces, following safety and quality standards.

The role requires physical stamina, reliability and the ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays. Previous room attendant experience is preferred to thrive in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Must have work experience as a Room Attendant or Houseman.
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products.
• Able to work with little supervision while maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and responds to special requests.
• Responds to guest concerns or suggestions with appropriate escalation.
• Cleans designated areas including guestrooms, hallways, lobby and offices.
• Maintains privacy by properly announcing entry and servicing guestrooms.
• Uses and maintains vacuums, chemicals and cleaning supplies.
• Monitors and cleans common areas and stairwells.
• Keeps daily log of tasks and issued keys.
• Handles lost and found items per policy and security procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
• Keeps supervisor informed of issues of significance.
