Job summary

OTO Development is seeking a Houseperson Associate to support the housekeeping team on site. You will stock carts, report maintenance needs, and execute both light and full cleaning to ensure guest rooms meet standards.

The role emphasizes physical effort, attention to detail, and a professional appearance as part of daily practice within a hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and squat for extended periods.
• Efficient, organized approach to housekeeping tasks.
• Attention to detail to ensure rooms are clean and well-stocked.
• Able to work with others and coordinate with front desk and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Stock housekeeping cart with supplies to plan the day.
• Report room maintenance needs to front desk staff and team.
• Differentiate between light touch and full clean and perform both effectively.
• Vacuum floors, change sheets, restock and replace room and bath amenities.
• Maintain a professional appearance including uniform, ID, safety footwear, and PPE.

What will you be doing most days?

• Stock housekeeping cart with all necessary supplies to plan your day efficiently
• Report room maintenance to the front desk staff and other team members
• Know the difference between ‘light touch’ and ‘full clean’ and know how to complete both effectively
• Vacuum floors, change sheets, restock, and replace all room and bath amenities
• Maintain a professional appearance including a pressed uniform, employee identification, safety footwear, and protective equipment

Physical Requirements For This Position

This position will require little to no travel outside the property and surrounding areas.
