OTO Development is seeking a dependable Housekeeping Team Associate to join our hotel team in Charlotte, NC. You will maintain clean, comfortable guest rooms, prepare spaces for new guests, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards.

Key duties include restocking supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and protecting guest privacy while delivering professional service in a fast-paced environment. Weekend availability is required; growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred.
• Must be dependable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards.
• Make beds and replace linens and towels.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, floors, furniture, and other room areas.
• Restock guest room amenities and supplies.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and remove trash.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to the appropriate department.
• Follow all hotel housekeeping procedures and safety standards.
• Respect guest privacy and protect guest belongings.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Work efficiently to complete assigned rooms on time.
• Communicate effectively with the Housekeeping Supervisor and other departments.
• Assist with maintaining clean and organized housekeeping areas.

What will you be doing most days?

• Stock housekeeping cart with all necessary supplies to plan your day efficiently
• Report room maintenance to the front desk staff and other team members
• Know the difference between ‘light touch’ and ‘full clean’ and know how to complete both effectively
• Vacuum floors, change sheets, restock, and replace all room and bath amenities
• Maintain a professional appearance including a pressed uniform, employee identification, safety footwear, and protective equipment

Physical Requirements For This Position
