Job summary

OTO Development is seeking a Housekeeping Team Associate to maintain clean and welcoming guest rooms within our California properties. You will stock carts, report maintenance, perform light and full cleans, vacuum floors, change linens, restock amenities, and uphold a professional appearance.

This hourly role requires physical stamina and pride in delivering spotless rooms; reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Stock housekeeping cart with supplies for the day.
• Report room maintenance to front desk and team members.
• Perform light and full cleans as required (light touch vs full clean).
• Vacuum floors, change sheets, restock and replace room amenities.
• Maintain a professional appearance including uniform, IDs and PPE.

What will you be doing most days?

• Stock housekeeping cart with all necessary supplies to plan your day efficiently
• Report room maintenance to the front desk staff and other team members
• Know the difference between ‘light touch’ and ‘full clean’ and know how to complete both effectively
• Vacuum floors, change sheets, restock, and replace all room and bath amenities
• Maintain a professional appearance including a pressed uniform, employee identification, safety footwear, and protective equipment

Physical Requirements For This Position

This is a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time.

Travel Requirements

This position will require little to no travel outside the property and surrounding areas.
